Traveling Cactus

Today while in Arizona I stopped at the T/A Truck Stop in Tonopah (I-10 exit103) to grab some Taco Bell. After entering the building you pass a lot of little Cactus'. The whole time I'm eating my burritos, I'm thinking of these Cactus'. These thoughts of Cactus are not new, however. These little dudes are at pretty much all the T/A's & Petros in the Southwest. Plus, the big ones are all over Arizona and hard to miss while driving. Anyways, while choking down the chemicals wrapped up in a tortilla, the thought of these Cactus was dominant. So, after I ate I went to look at them. It seemed they were talking to me. I felt such an attraction to them, like a moth to a flame or some other similar cliche. Being the Spiritual guy I am, I asked them who wants to go with me. Mind you, I said this aloud and (human) peeps looked at me like I'm crazy. Whatever...I can't help they aren't awakened to the fact that ALL THINGS ARE CONNECTED and there is NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM. Some of the Cactus were more vocal than others...BUT this one was the loudest and the one I felt the most attraction to. So, with a pottery swap (I didn't like the one that was in the box), I took it the cashier and bought him...$12. Then with time always being a factor I continued on my way to grab a load of cotton bales in Blythe, California. Then ran into the yard in Fontana for the night since delivery isn't until tomorrow. Shortly after I parked, I planted this little dude in his pot. Yes, I got poked a couple times from the spines, but he was as gentle to me as I was with him. I haven't transplanted anything in years and was actually nervous about it. However, we both survived the ordeal and are happy. So, now I have a travel companion! So what its a Cactus...humans and critters are too much work. This guy just sits there. Lol :D
