This morning the big boss of the terminal wanted to talk to me. I went in his office, and he told me to have a seat. I did then he asked me about vlogs and blogs. He said the main dispatch guy saw something on his phone. He then asked if I blog while at work. I of course denied it, but the way he looked at me he didn't believe me.
He then goes in this thing about wasting company time and it can be an insurance issue. What do they think vlogging is?? The way they make it sound is I'm setting up a mobile TV stage with lots of cameras, lighting, green screens, audio equipment, etc.
How's it "wasting company time"? I did it WHILE working...multi tasking if you will.
How's it an insurance issue?? I never showed anything or anybody's face. I don't get it...
I know how all this got started...
One day during training the guy that trained me asked me about my camera. I told him that I document my life on YouTube and handed him a card. Him being a "Duddly DoRight" kiss ass told the main dispatch guy. The dispatch guy told me I can't do it...I told him ok. I thought I was done with particular situation. This morning proved that wrong.
I swear dude...this new company is full of snitches. Everybody is watching everybody all the time. Then run to the boss if they "don't like" what you're doing. I don't care what anybody does. I'm there to work and make money...which is about the same I was making with Knight.
After my talk with the big boss, and all the asshole-ism... I've been thinking of my future with this new company. Perhaps after I pay down my debt significantly I'll move on to something else.
I'll let you know...
Cliff
