Well let's see. Today was rather uneventful. I took my empty trailer down to the south end of Albuquerque to our new drop yard. Let me tell ya...this one fucking blows goats, ok? It's in a recycling facility up a small hill with nothing but loose dirt. I had to lock my axles to get up the hill. The truck kept breaking loose. It kinda reminded me of the "sugar sand" in the orange groves in Florida. It's definitely not a place to drop trailers. I can only imagine what it will be like when the sand turns into mud. Plus, Albuquerque gets a decent amount of snow. So, its gonna be a bitch in the winter time climbing a icy hill with all that mud. Fuck that! Anyway, I did the swap and headed North to Denver. I went about 200 miles and stopped at Russell's Travel Center and grabbed a meatball sub from subway. I wanted a real meal but time was an issue. The Safeway warehouse or should I say any Safeway warehouse is a fucking joke. Only because of the lumper service. They take forever and charge a huge amount. Aye! Freakin drama about giving them money. Check my Facebook for the updates on that. Geez..wtf! I was there over two hours and hopefully Knight will give me some detention pay. Oh well, whatever. I'm here now at the Sapp Brothers Truck Stop. I'm not gonna eat any dinner because its too late and I've been having real bad acid reflux lately. However, in the morning I will be having a Denver omlet in Denver! Yum! I love those things..just look at my gut! Lol :D
