Well...I think the interesting thing that happened today was a drug search on bus at the Petro in Medford, Oregon. After I ate my breakfast, I did a pretrip on the truck and had to fill a couple tires with air because they were low. When I was done with that I went back inside to use the restroom. For some reason I looked towards the fuel islands and saw a bus and thought, "oh great the restroom will be overflowing with tourists". Well, I was wrong. Not a soul in there. I do my business and head back out towards the truck. This time there are people standing there looking towards the fuel islands. The same bus has everybody standing outside while a cop is searching someone's bag. Then another cop rolled up in a "plain black wrapper" Dodge Charger w/ a dog. The driver of the bus was ordered to open the cargo doors while the dog smelled the baggage. I didn't stay to see what happened, but I did snap a few pics, then I was out. I didn't want to get in a pissing match about jurisdiction with 5-0. So, I got on the big road and went to Sacramento. There I dropped the load of plywood. Then had to go to the Target whse in Woodland for an empty trailer. After that I went to the Sacramento 49er to get fuel and shut down. That's about it.
P.S. yes I'm sticking to my soup & salad diet. :)
