TRUCKER LOG: Got a Bike!

I got a bike to take with me on the road...

A lot of times I get stuck at a truck stop and don't want to just stay at the truck stop. The places I want to go to are a little too far to walk to. Also, when the truck goes in the shop, I'm usually stuck there at a terminal until they fix the truck. I don't know about you, but I don't necessarily like a vending machine diet. With a bike, I can peddle myself to a restaurant or anywhere in the area I wanna go. Mostly, I got the bike for some exercise. Driving a truck limits you on cardio, resulting in having a jiggly belly. Weather permitting, I'll hop on and ride around the parking lot and beyond. I think all drivers should develop some sort of exercise regimen, along with a healthier diet. I've seen a lot of drivers (myself included) over the years drive all day, eat a bunch of garbage, then just lounge around in the truck. I see some that exercise like they're in gym class, eat healthy food and look good. As everyone else, I'm getting older. I'm making changes in my life to he more full and complete.

Daily Update 10-5-14






 Let's see...my day was spent mostly at the open mic at Dreamers Coffeehouse here in Reno. Sparky and I got to do two sets, due to the lack of peeps wanting/willing to get on stage. Our mom Leslie even got up and did a monologue! Whoop! Whoop!


















Earlier maybe a couple hours ago I uploaded the pics of the Tarot card shoot I did yesterday. Um...I think I might edit the videos mom had me record yesterday and post them on youtube. Idk...what else to say. It's been a rather sit back and chill kind of day.










As far as food went for today...

Brunch...homemade cheeseburger (no bun), an ear of corn w/ real butter and black pepper, leftover fried potatoes, some macaroni salad, a couple tomato slices. 

Diet Breaker...a 16oz "Cookies & Cream" milkshake at the open mic.

Supper...Broccoli soup over rice w/ some cheese sprinkled on top, small dinner salad w/Italian dressing, a couple tomato slices.

Daily Diet: 9-29-14

Hhmm...I don't think today was very good, but it hit the spot.

Brunch... Today was two McChicken deluxes' from Puke Donalds. They weren't too bad in taste. I was in a big hurry today with lots of miles to run. I didn't have time for a dine in sit down breakfast.

Snack...the rest of the grapes...maybe a handful

Diet breaker...king sized pack of Reese's cups...dam sweet tooth buggin'.

Supper...a can of Campbell's Chunky soup, followed by a can of "very cherry" fruit cocktail.

Weight Loss Journey: I lost 6lbs!

I started at 250.2! I didn't really change my diet, just the portions. I also, became more active, by walking around more...photography helps with that. I still have a long way to go, but I'm happy with the six pounds so far! :D
