Daily Diet: 10-11-14
Well...this is day two of my soup & salad diet and it feels good...real good. I have more energy. This morning when I was eating a very delicious chicken & rice soup, I looked around to see what everybody else was eating. I saw a lot of bread(toast, waffles, pancakes, donuts, etc), and a lot of greasy meat and eggs. I actually started to get grossed out watching others eat. Which is weird, because I normally have a Denver omlet w/cheddar cheese, soft hashbrowns and Texas toast. Right there is a lot of greasy meat, eggs, potatoes, bread and salty cheese. It tastes good though! Anyways, here is what I ate today...
Breakfast:
2 (small) bowls of chicken & rice soup with bacon bits...doctored up with black pepper and garlic powder. (It was a little blan, that's why I doctored it up). I finished my meal with a variety of melons...water, cantaloupe and honeydew. Along with a few red grapes. Sweet tea to drink.
Snack:
About a handful of cashews
Supper:
Grilled chicken salad with a light drizzle of ranch dressing. (They were out of Italian). Sweet tea to drink.
I am happy with myself about this choice I made. I'm looking forward to checking the scale in a few days to see if this is working. :)

Daily Diet: 10-10-14
After a lot of thought, I decided to do the "soup & salad diet". I'm not sure how long I will do this, but I'm gonna give it a shot. I'm gonna do it for at least one (1) week, and see what kind of progress there is on my weight loss. I kinda hate the thought of eating like a rabbit, but with my slow metabolism, combined with my lack of physical exercise (I'm a trucker) this is the current best option. I am though, gonna start walking laps around the truck stops. My problem is sticking with stuff. I have lots of great ideas and good intentions, but the sticking to it is hard. Although I am loyal. So, maybe I need to be loyal to my diet? Hhmm...

Daily Diet: 10-7-14
Breakfast..."breakfast burger" from Carl JRs
Lunch/Supper...a "del chicken classic burrito", and a chicken quesadilla with green sauce from Del Taco
I'm sure there was a lot of salt and chemicals in the food...not a good day for weight loss!
Daily Diet: 10-6-14
The only meal I had today was a grilled chicken sandwich topped with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles. Oh yeah, can't forget the the BBQ sauce!! French fries were the side, but I only ate a few of those.
My diet breaker was a small bag of peanut butter M&M's.
This is what I ate today. Not very much. Sorry for no pics.

Daily Diet: 9-26-14
This is the beginning of many posts of what I eat on a daily basis. I ment to post this yesterday, but after a full day of trucking I was really tired. I fell asleep as soon as I laid down.
So here goes...
I started my day with Panda Express. Why did I choose Panda Express to start my day? Well...I was at a mall in Boise, Idaho delivering to the Sears store. I had a couple hours to kill, and didn't want to stay in the truck. So, I wondered around until I found the food court. Of all the choices, greasy "Chinese food" seemed to be the most appetizing.
I ordered...Chow Mein, Orange Chicken & String Bean Chicken. I washed it down with a Pepsi. I'm fully aware that this wasn't the best, most healthy option, but out here on the road there isn't many options for healthy eating.
Later in the day my sweet tooth was bugging me. So I ate a king size pack of Reese's Cups. I couldn't resist the oh so sweetness. Throughout the day, my sweet tooth kept bugging. To keep it at bay, I had some red grapes that I got in Bakersfield a few days ago.
The last and final thing I ate is a Macedonia nut cookie from Subway. Besides being hungry and it being too late to have an actual meal...I ate a cookie. After that I went right to sleep.
Today was not the best day for watching my weight...
